Experiments with leys and permanent grass

There is a pressing need for further experiments on problems of grassland management and, in discussing the design and technique of experiments, emphasis is laid on the choice of uniform sites for plots. Long, narrow plots, adequately replicated, are suggested,and may be of 0-25 acre where a grazing technique is employed or 0.1 to 0.05 acre with grass-cutting techniques. This is demonstrated RESP-2777
