The aim of the present study was to identify genes that could be used for the normalisation of qRT-PCR data in barley, using RNAseq data (NCBI accession number PRJNA400519: RNA sequencing of Hordeum vulgare L. under low nitrogen stress). The particular interest was in genes that were stably expressed under different nitrogen conditions, including low-nitrogen stress.
