Abstract

Comment
Green ammonia production could contribute to the decarbonization of multiple sectors and decentralize fertilizer production, but it brings critical challenges, including a lack of infrastructure, economic disruption and environmental and health risks. These challenges need to be addressed and monitored in real-time to avoid or mitigate unintended consequences.
